Diamond Pet Food Suspends Delivery of Some Products

Gaston, SC (WLTX) – Diamond Pet Food has temporarily suspended delivery of products made at its Gaston plant.

The decision came after the company noticed problems with its Diamond natural lamb meal and rice dog food made at the plant.

Diamond recalled that product earlier this month after some of it was found to be contaminated with salmonella.

The company says they have not taken reports of any illnesses connected with the recall.

Diamond says it is working around the clock to get the Gaston plant back up.
